TWICY

Twicy (born Ernest Bright Acquah) acquired his unique stage name from the phrase "Two Eyes I See", hence the name "Twicy". The prominent Afro-beat pop singer / songwriter was born in Agona Swedru located in the central region of Ghana. Twicy always had a knack for singing and crafting songs. The gifted young artist also knew at a young age that he would one day become one of the most powerful, influential recording artists from West Africa, if not the entire world. Twicy fully pursued his passion after graduating Edinam an High School in the year 2013.

Shortly after high school, Twicy recorded a 3 song demo at various studios around Central Ghana. After sending his music to numerous labels, record and management companies, Twicy eventually was picked up by Dailey's Entertainment in 2016 after winning 1st place for a Song Remix Competition hosted by The Media Blast PR and Dailey's Entertainment , and Twicy, along with his management team Dailey's Entertainment have been making history ever since. Aside from winning Song Remix Competitions, the Ghanaian Pop singer continued his winning streak by winning "Male Vocalist of t he Year" at The Central Music Awards in 2018. From there, Twicy released his first globally successful music video "Gimme Love" in 2019. Twicy continued releasing a slew of viral hit singles and music videos such as 2020's inspirational anthem "Hope" which was meant to give people something positive to listen to as the world faced the COVID-19 Pandemic. Twicy also made more international waves with the release of his popular singles "Kinda Lady" (Body Like Nicki Minaj) and his current opus "Latest Issue"!

Twicy has shared the stage as well as the studio with a number of high profile, heavy hitting recording artists from all over the globe such as Patoraking, Stonebwoy, Kuami Eugene, Kurl Songx, Patapaa, Wendy Shay and a host of others. With many musical milestones under his belt, Twicy is well on his way to taking his place on the world music stage.

Rigormortiz, is a British MC, rapper, singer, songwriter and music producer. He is also known as the Kameleon due to the versatility of his lyrical delivery. A.O. C.entral C.command After picking up from Episode 1, The Agency Operative emerges with a new album Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. Throughout his career, the agency operative has gone through a series of transformation to reach this point as a hip hop artist. From writing in a journal to writing rhymes. The Agency Operative went from playing trumpet to being a vocalist.

There was a setback in which AO had to take a hiatus. Not seeing financial success on the first album, the Agency Operative was forced to hold back on setting out more projects. The first project could’ve been the last. The reasons for making another project is AO does not give up so easily. Even though Episode 1 did not reach financial success, the album did give AO a better look on how the music industry works.

Another reason for putting out another project is that the former graduate of TCNJ in 2009 has not seen much change in the economy. The job market is still limited with job opportunities. Not much has changed from the first album in 2011 to the current album in 2015. After graduation AO has only been working for jobs that are temporary and has not been offered a permanent position. AO has decided to take his life in a new direction.

From the beginning AO was going by stage name King Kong. The reason for the name change was due to getting legal rights to the name. King Kong came up with the name “The Agency Operative.” Agency is an acronym (Agent Geared for Emissary to Navigate through Critical Conditions without Yielding). Operative means secret agent. The Agency Operative is the secret agent of The Agency Headquarters. The Agency Headquarters is the name of the label. Just recently, The Agency Operative went into another name change. AO decided to go with the name: A.O. C.entral C.ommand. The reason for another name change was that fans have the option to shorten the name A.O. C.C. or can say the entire name. Another reason for the name change is the name would clarify that I am my own boss. The label was created in 2010 with the first single “So Hot.”

A.O. CC returned on a mission with a new album The name of the album is Episode 2 – Agent on a Mission. The album was released on I-tunes and Google Play on December 11, 2015. As an agent on a mission, the journey will continue to fulfill the mission statement. Regardless of the situation or circumstances, there is a clear decision to continue with the music career by any means.

The current status of A.O. is to continue with the mission. Already putting in 8 years in the game and still going, A.O. strikes back with the third installment to his discography with Episode 3: A Force to be Reckoned With. This project was released on 12/31/2017. Up to date, Episode 3 is the best project that is out. Best quality of mastering that is matched with great melodies makes this album one of the best.

Next step is to drop Episode 4 by the end of the year of 2019. This album will be one of the most intense albums yet. This album will show great songwriting skills that will match the current climate today. This album exploits the hard truths that a lot of artist will not speak about.

In conclusion, the future looks bright for not only A.O. C.C., but with music business in general. The new age of music business opens the doors in which artist can now control their material and not be blackballed by speaking their minds. Artist can not only control their music business, but also open to opportunities without having a mega deal. Not only making music, but we can make merch like shoes, clothes, backpacks, bed sheets, and many more. The sky is the limit with endless opportunities. See you at the next episode.

The latest project Episode 5: Agency Agenda will spin the agency under a new cycle. Adding the new agent "Cyclone" to the agency will take the agency to a new direction. After releasing the EP Episode 5: Agency Agenda - Phase One was released in January the follow-up "Phase Two" is set to drop this summer.

Agent Cyclone is ready to stir it up, mix it up, and turn it up this summer. Even with the pandemic, for this project I tend to try to brighten up the mood. Some of the tracks off the new EP gives off a laid back vibe perfect for the summer. with the pandemic is winding down and the weather is starting to warm up, this is the perfect time to release this project.

Bio: Over the generations, the San Francisco Bay Area has been breeding grounds for some of the most revolutionary music to ever be released. Dating way back to the futuristic funk of Sly & the Family Stoneall the way up to Too $hort, E-40 and Mack Dre, that cool Northern California flavor has consistently created the newest innovations in urban music.

Keeping true to the tradition of making classic material, Bay Area native son Jonah Melvon is initiating the most cutting-edge musical movement to emerge from the region in decades. With his spanking new album Rain Water Project and a whopping three new singles “What’s Good for You,” “1099” and “Thinkin of You,” this multi-talented rapper/singer/songwriter is rapidly rising to the top of the charts.

“My music is raw. It’s lyrical; it’s socially conscious. If I’m rhyming or singing, it has a lot of depth in it. It has some level of healing, some level of consciousness,” he explains. “My music is the Bay. The Bay lives in my music.”

Born in San Francisco to a mother who migrated from New Orleans and father from Chicago, Jonah moved to North Oakland with his family before he could barely walk and raised in a quiet, middle-class area known as Lake Merritt. And while his two-parent home was stable, the same couldn’t be said when he ventured away from home.

“I played sports, and sports took me everywhere. I was playing ball in places like East Oakland, and it was very scary,” he laughs. “A part of that was this area we used to call The Village, where I played baseball in a neighborhood that had crack houses behind me. So I’m 12 years old in left field, nervous if something was going to go down.”

He continued to play baseball and football all through high school and even played a season at a local junior college. He would not delve into music, however, until his sister and cousin convinced him. His sister Adesha was an aspiring singer who had made quite a name for herself locally and needed someone to produce some music for her.

So Jonah and his cousin lent her a hand and started producing tracks for her. He wouldn’t start making his own music, however, until a few years later when he was attending San Jose State University. He met a couple of guys who believed in his music and suggested he record his own sounds. Jonah took them up on the offer, and before he knew it, he had cultivated a local following. Before it was all said and done, Jonah had recorded eight demo CDs and made a hefty profit selling them hand to hand.

“My dreams were cultivated in Oakland. My discipline was cultivated in San Jose,” he reflects.

Riding the momentum of his popularity, he released his first full-album in 2009 called This Is the Year. To promote his music while earning some steady income, Jonah assembled a live band called So Timeless. And over the few years, they paid the bills by playing at local clubs, weddings, parties and anywhere else that would book them.

They played with the likes of R&B star Miguel, Goapele, Ledisi, T.I., EPMD, Black Eyed Peas and Heiro, just to name a few.

“You can make a living playing seven nights a week in the Bay,” says Jonah. “We got hired a lot, so we got lost in making money, which is a good problem to have. But I knew that I couldn’t continue doing cover tunes of other people’s music if I wanted to concentrate on my own branding.”

So Jonah stepped down from the band, started another company Left University and landed a job as a songwriter for a music label. But when he wrote a song that charted on Billboard, Jonah came to the boss and asked for either his publishing rights from his music or a bigger check upfront. When the boss declined his offer, Jonah jumped ship.

“Most people don’t want you to have equity in business,” he divulges. “Once I started asking about equity, there was a problem. Everybody was making money off me but me.”

Now with all of that behind him, Jonah Melvon can finally concentrate on building his own brand. With a charisma that cannot be defined, old school soul and a message mixed in with his mesmerizing melodies, his music draws people to him with a familiar flare that makes people fall in love with his smooth swag. And he puts his talents on full display with the recent release of full-length album Rain Water Project and three lead singles “What’s Good for You,” “1099”and “Thinkin of You.”

“I knew I had to do my own music when so many people kept coming up to me and asking, if I had any of my own original work,” Jonah explains. “This is what the people have asked for, which makes this process even more special.”
