This piece is done on tar paper, a dear friend of mine gave me the idea to use it, as that is what she paints on as well. I am loving working with it. I am using colored pencils and acrylic paint. This piece is going to my friend Debora, who by the way sets up her work at Jacksons Square in New Orleans. If you every get down that way look for her, her art is very alive with color and spirit!
